Switzerland Approves Covaxin

Switzerland has given recognition to the vaccine (Switzerland Travel Update) and Britain is likely to do the same soon. International travel will increase due to the World Health Organization's (WHO) emergency use approval (EUA) for the vaccine. A senior aviation ministry official said that under air bubble agreements with various countries, we are increasing the capacity on the basis of demand for flights.

Airlines say that international airfares have been very high during Covid. One-way fares for some locations exceed pre-pandemic return fares. Only increased capacity can reduce fares. Foreign tourists will be allowed non-charters from mid-November. The high fare will create trouble for the passengers coming to India. America is opening for international travelers from today. India has an open agreement with the US (meaning Air India and US carriers will not put any restrictions on the number of flights between the two locations).

Prior to the approval of Covaxin manufactured by Bharat Biotech by the WHO, about 16 countries had accepted this vaccine with the aim of allowing travelers to get the vaccine from India. After WHO approval, many countries including the UK and Canada are evaluating Covaxin. He may approve it in the coming days. People say that the UK can approve it soon.

According to a British High Commission spokesperson, the UK will continue to take a phased approach to expanding our vaccination arrival policy. The completion of the Canada Review is dependent on several factors, including the need for additional data, discussions with the sponsor, and requirements for updates to security information.
