Board of Peace: Israel’s Minister of Economy Nir Barkat has categorically remarked that any nation that supports terror in any form cannot be welcomed to put its troops in Gaza.

Barkat was referring to Pakistan, Qatar and Turkey that have long supported the Jihadi organizations. However, Barkat remarked that Israel is not against the idea of having them as a part of the larger organization under the leadership of United States President Donald Trump.

Israeli Envoy To India Blasted Pakistan-Board of Peace

Earlier this month, the Israeli envoy to India rejected any proposal whatsoever to include the armed forces of Pakistan in any boots-on-the-ground Gaza plan. Reuven Azar said Pakistan cannot be relied upon as it has links with Hamas and terror groups including the Lashkar-e-Taiba. Azar had also commented that nations primarily cooperate with only those nations whom they trust and with whom they share proper diplomatic relations.

The Israeli envoy to India further remarked Israel as a country does not view or consider the terror-state Pakistan as an acceptable or credible partner in any stabilization mechanism involving Gaza.

Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, has been receiving flak from opposition parties, his own party members and the general public after he joined hands with Israel and Benjamin Netanyahu. Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, the Leader of the Opposition in the Pak Senate and the chief of the Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM), also blasted Pakistan’s decision to join the board saying the move was indefensible and morally incorrect.
