Ukraine to allow Indian students to appear for exam, here’s more information

There is good news for the Indian medical students who had returned to the country due to the Russia-Ukraine war. Now they will be able to take the exam from India only. Now students will not need to go to Ukraine to give their exams, Indian students will be able to appear in the exam only by staying here.

An official announcement has been made by the Government of Ukraine to allow Indian students to take the main examination from India itself.

What is announcement?

Ukraine will allow Indian students to appear in the exam from India itself. Ukraine’s Deputy Foreign Minister Emine Dzhaparova was on a three-day visit to India from 10 to 12 April. On the issue of Indian medical students, on Wednesday (April 12) the minister said that Ukraine will allow foreign medical students to take their final exams from their country.

On the issue of Indian medical students, the Deputy External Affairs Minister said that Ukraine will allow foreign medical students to take the Unified State Qualification Exam (USQE) in their country, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said on Wednesday.

2000 students have gone back to Ukraine

When the war started in February last year, around 19,000 Indian students were pursuing medical education in Ukraine.

According to estimates, around 2,000 Indian students have gone back to Ukraine and they are mostly living in the western part of the East European country. Ukraine government has given big relief to medical students they say that students who are still in India can join online classes.
