US Israel Iran War: Narendra Modi Answers Donald Trump’s Iran War SOS! Can India broker Hormuz Harmony?

US Israel Iran War: Trump posted that he has instructed the US Department of War to postpone all forms of military strikes against energy infrastructure and power plants of the Islamic Republic of Iran for a five-day period, subject to the success of the ongoing discussions and meetings between USA and Iran.

US Israel Iran War: On Tuesday evening, United States President called Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the ongoing Middle East situation, including the significance of keeping the Strait of Hormuz open. This was the first conversation between the two leaders ever since a trade deal was announced by the United States with India after lowering economic tariffs on India to 18 from 50 percent.

On Monday, Indian External affairs minister S Jaishankar had spoken to Marco Rubio, his counterpart about the Middle East conflict.

US Ambassador Sergio Gor remarked the two world leaders had a word on the prevailing situation amid the US Israel Iran war, including the importance of keeping the strategic Hormuz strait open without disruptions and threats.

US Israel Iran War-PM Modi Post On X

In a post on X, PM Modi remarked New Delhi has always been and would always be a supporter of de-escalation and peace must be restored at the earliest. Modi also commented that the Hormuz Strait must stay open, accessible and secure for the world.

Trump Calls For Peace

Trump posted that he has instructed the US Department of War to postpone all forms of military strikes against energy infrastructure and power plants of the Islamic Republic of Iran for a five-day period, subject to the success of the ongoing discussions and meetings between USA and Iran.

Donald Trump also announced that he is extending the deadline for Iran so it could reopen the Hormuz Strait, which is the strategically-located shipping lane between the Gulf of Oman and the Persian Gulf.

In the recent weeks, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Lebanon, Qatar and Bahrain have been attacked by Iran. To end the Middle East crisis, Trump has asked US Vice-President JD Vance to meet with Iranian officials in Islamabad.
