While Donald Trump Tries Hard to Prove B-2 Stealth Bomber's Success, Khamenei Declares Victory, Check Who Achieved What ?

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, has been publicly critical of the recent U.S. military strike on Iran's nuclear facilities. The U.S. carried out what Trump called a "tremendous military success," utilizing B-2 stealth bombers, in addition to various other aircraft and submarines. In total, the reported length of the operations was 18 hours, involving 7 B-2s and over 125 other aircraft, with various cruise missiles launched from submarines. The strikes targeted three key Iranian nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

In remarks about the missions, Trump stated that the airstrikes "obliterated" Iran's nuclear program while asserting that the strikes were executed perfectly and precisely. Trump further stated that no other military could conduct such a complex mission while the U.S. showed its superior airpower and strategic concept. 

Khamenei’s Declaration of Victory

In stark contrast, Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, issued a stubborn statement proclaiming victory over both countries, in his mind, following the conflict. Khamenei characterized US involvement as a desperate last-ditch effort to salvage the "Zionist regime," which he said was essentially on the verge of destruction due to actions taken by Iran, including US air strikes in Syria and Sudan. He stated that while the US entered the war directly, they would “achieve nothing… the US received a 'heavy slap’ from retaliatory strikes executed by Iran,” calling into question the US military capabilities.

Khamenei referenced the damage done to the Al-Udeid Air Base, which is the US military command center for the area, as evidence of Iran's strength and capability. Khamenei characterized the conflict as a destructive, strategic, and political win for Iran, showing that the Islamic Republic had both the ability and the willingness to withstand US aggression.
