The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will be held on 24 December, in which the inclusion of two new teams in the IPL will be discussed.
The election of the new vice president is also included in the agenda of the meeting. The BCCI has sent an agenda of 23 points to all the recognized units 21 days before calling the AGM.
The most important point in this is to make it a tournament of 10 teams by including two new teams in the IPL. It is understood that the Adani Group and Sanjeev Goenka’s RPG (owners of Rising Pune Supergiants) want to form new teams, one of which will be from Ahmedabad.
In the meeting, it will also be discussed about who will be the representative of BCCI in ICC and Asian Cricket Council. It is believed that board secretary Jai Shah will be given this responsibility.
