MG Price Hike: Second price hike of Hector and Gloster variants announced, check details here

MG Price Hike: MG Motor is a well-known SUVs in India. Hector is the first product of MG and the other popular SUV of MG is Gloster. The price increases up to Rs 78,000 (ex-sh). There are price changes for Hector Plus as well as the normal Hector. These two SUVs’ pricing last went up by MG in May 2023.

Same variants got no hike in prices

The prices of the Style, Shine, and Smart trim levels with petrol powertrains have not changed since the basic Hector, according to MG. These are the less expensive trims, which contribute to a competitive base price. With petrol options, the Smart Pro, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro trim levels have price increases that are noticeable. All of the aforementioned variations will see the same increase of Rs. 30,000 (ex-sh). The top end Savvy Pro CVT model is still priced at Rs. 22.39 lakh (ex-sh), but prices still start at Rs. 15 lakh (ex-sh). Shine MT and Smart MT both have price increases of Rs. 26,000 and Rs. 27,000 while using Hector diesel. Price increases of Rs. 58,000 and Rs. 60,000 are applied to the Smart Pro MT and Sharp Pro MT, respectively.

MG Price hike by 30 to 61 thousand rupees

Diesel Sharp Pro, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro models have the same Rs. 30,000 price increase (ex-sh), whether they are 6- or 7-seaters. The top-spec petrol Hector Plus model is now Rs. 23.24 lakh more expensive than it was before (both prices ex-sh). Price increases of Rs. 28,000 for the base diesel 7S Smart MT model and Rs. 59,000 for the 6S Smart Pro MT (both ex-sh) are implemented. However, the price increase of Rs. 61,000 (ex-sh) is shared by the 6S and 7S Sharp Pro MT models. Effectively, the pricing range for MG Hector Plus Diesel versions is now Rs. 20.80 lakh to Rs. 23.58 lakh (both prices ex-sh).

MG Gloster: Hiked by 74000

The price of the MG Gloster Base Sharp 7S 2WD model has increased by Rs. 71,000 to Rs. 38.8 lakh (prices ex-sh). Savvy 2WD costs Rs. 40.34 lakh (prices ex-sh), which is Rs. 74,000 more expensive. The Gloster Savvy 4WD variant has had the most price increase, costing an extra Rs. 78,000 (ex-sh).
