Mahavatar Narsimha Vs Hari Hara Veera Mallu Box Office Collection: Hombale’s Film To Miss Rs 50 Cr Mark In Week 1? Pawan Kalyan Starrer Almost DEAD

The box office battle between Mahavatar Narsimha and Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 Sword vs Spirit has taken an interesting turn. While Hombale Films’ animated offering continues to pull in crowds despite minimal pre-release hype, Pawan Kalyan’s much-delayed period drama appears to be fading fast after a decent start.

Directed by Ashwin Kumar, Mahavatar Narsimha has exceeded expectations. The mythological animated action film, released in multiple languages including Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam, has impressed audiences across India. The film blends devotional storytelling with high-quality animation, and positive word-of-mouth has boosted its performance.

Mahavatar Narsimha Box Office Collection Day 5

On Day 5, the film collected Rs 7.50 cr from morning to evening shows, according to early estimates from Sacnilk. With a total India net collection of Rs 29.35 cr so far, it is now close to hitting the Rs 30 cr milestone. What’s more surprising is the film’s strong hold in Hindi-speaking regions like Delhi and Mumbai, despite being a Kannada production. Cities like Hyderabad and Bengaluru are also seeing steady footfall.

While some trade experts believe Mahavatar Narsimha could cross Rs 50 cr in its first week, that goal now looks ambitious. With only two days left, the film would need to earn over Rs 20 cr to reach that number, which is an unlikely feat even with its current momentum.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu Box Office Collection Day 6

On the other hand, Hari Hara Veera Mallu is losing steam rapidly. The film had a strong start thanks to its massive pre-release buzz and special paid premieres in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Bengaluru. However, after Day 1, it has seen a continuous drop in box office numbers.

According to Sacnilk, the Pawan Kalyan-starrer earned just Rs 1.75 cr on Day 6 in India – its lowest single-day collection yet. With a six-day total of Rs 79.10 cr, it’s becoming increasingly unlikely that the film will even touch the Rs 100 cr mark by the end of its theatrical run.

Much like Indian 2, Game Changer, and Kannappa, this big-budget south film crashed after its opening. Despite early excitement, poor reviews and lacklustre word-of-mouth have severely affected the film\’s earnings. With below Rs 2 cr fall, there’s no way this Pawan Kalyan starrer will bounce back.

The uncertain performance also puts the future of Part 2 in doubt. While there is talk of the sequel going into production, there has been no official confirmation from the makers yet.

About Mahavatar Narsimha And Hari Hara Veera Mallu

Mahavatar Narsimha follows the mythological tale of Hiranyakashipu, whose son Prahlad’s devotion to Lord Vishnu leads to a divine intervention. The Lord appears in his Narasimha avatar to end tyranny and save his devotee.

On the other hand, Hari Hara Veera Mallu is a fictional period action drama about a rebel thief hired to steal the Koh-i-Noor from Aurangzeb’s court. Starring Pawan Kalyan, Bobby Deol, and Nidhhi Agerwal, the film had potential but seems to have stumbled after its early push.

As of now, Mahavatar Narsimha is emerging as the more stable performer in this box office clash. With word-of-mouth working in its favour, it might sustain longer, even if it falls short of Rs 50 cr in the first week. Meanwhile, the future of Hari Hara Veera Mallu looks bleak, with recovery chances almost nil.
