The people of Lakhimpur, UP, experience a thrill-packed dwell between man and leopard. As the wild predator decides to enter a brick kiln, a brave worker does not hesitate to confront it.
His brave act, as captured by someone on the site, shows how courageously he continues to tame the wild. His smart act gave others the courage to help him, too. The leopard in the viral video is now safe in the custody of the forest department.
Brave Worker Fights Off the Leopard
A terrifying video is coming from the Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh. The viral video, as journalist Sachin Gupta posted on his X handle, shows a horrific struggle between a man and a leopard.
pic.twitter.com/tqVqUC7vlF

The report says that the leopard suddenly enters a brick kiln where several workers are on duty. But a brave 35-year-old brick worker named Mihilal decides to confront the wild predator.
In the video, we can see him knocking down the leopard on the ground. Other workers also support him by throwing bricks at the leopard.
Forest Team Captures It After Much Chaos
The spontaneous action of the brick workers eventually helped them in this case. The leopard becomes exhausted from wrestling and constant shouting. It then fled into the nearby Sharda Nagar forest range. There, the forest department team captures the leopard.
Several people got injured while capturing and wrestling with the leopard in the brick kiln site. Even the forest officer Rajesh Kumar Dixit and Range Officer Nripendra Chaturvedi got minor injuries while capturing the leopard.
There was an intense situation until the wild was captured. However, the people of Lakhimpur are now finally at ease. The forest department also praises the brave act of Mihilal, who saved the lives of other workers.
However, this incident is another alarm for noting the increasing encounters between man and wildlife. The expansion and urbanisation left little space for such wild animals to roam.
