Hospitalization After Jail Return
After his interim bail granted by the Gujarat High Court expired on March 31, Asaram surrendered at Jodhpur Central Jail on Tuesday afternoon. However, he was reportedly hospitalized at a private facility (Arogyaam) on Pali Road around 11:30 PM. Officials have not provided any official reason for his admission to the hospital.
Legal Complications Keep Asaram in Custody
Despite receiving interim bail in the Gujarat case, Asaram cannot be released unless he secures relief in both cases. Until then, he will remain under judicial custody, confirmed officials.
Affidavit Submission Required for Further Proceedings
The Rajasthan High Court has asked both Asaram and the victim to submit affidavits regarding the case. The victim’s lawyer strongly opposed an extension of bail, arguing that Asaram had previously violated court conditions and should not be given any further relief.
