Vande Bharat Train: This Sharadiya Navratri, Rajasthan residents are in for a special treat as the much-awaited Vande Bharat Express train service between Jodhpur and Delhi Cantt is set to begin. According to railway sources, preparations for the new high-speed, premium train service are in their final stages. It is expected that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the service between 20th to 25th September 2025.
Modern Facilities and Local Flavors on Board
The state-of-the-art Vande Bharat Express has already arrived in Jodhpur. Trial runs and other technical processes have nearly been completed. Passengers traveling between Jodhpur, Jaipur, and Delhi will now enjoy faster and more comfortable journeys.
A special menu curated by IRCTC will delight passengers with local flavors. Breakfast will include items such as upma, besan cheela, and biscuits, while lunch will feature a traditional Rajasthani thali with rice, dal, paratha, paneer, and gatte ki sabzi. Non-vegetarian options will also be available, and every traveler will receive a packaged water bottle.

Other Proposed Vande Bharat Services
Alongside the Jodhpur–Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat, the inauguration event may also include the launch of Bikaner–Delhi Cantt and Udaipur–Chandigarh Vande Bharat Express trains. Vikas Kheda, Senior Commercial Manager of the Railway Division, stated that preparations are complete; only the final approval from the Railway Board regarding the date is pending.
