A source told HT, “The shoot of the film got wrapped up in August, and it is now in post-production. The makers are hoping to lock the edit by December and release early 2026.”
The release date is yet to be confirmed. The source added, “That’s all dependent on Netflix, so one will have to wait for them to commit to a date. Nothing happens until seven layers of corporate executives have signed off.”
Bhumi will also star in the show Daldal, directed by Amrit Raj Singh. She plays a police officer, which she calls “one of the most complex roles” of her career. In addition, she will reunite with Ishaan Khatter for the second season of The Royals.
