Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann visited the ancestral village of Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha on his martyrdom day, honouring the revolutionary who sacrificed his life at a very young age for India’s freedom. Mann participated in the state-level commemorative event held in Sarabha village and offered floral tributes at the memorial. He also visited the martyr’s ancestral home and reflected on the historic memories associated with Sarabha’s life and legacy.

Residents of Sarabha village also presented certain demands before the Chief Minister. Mann assured them that the state government would address these issues on a priority basis, reaffirming his commitment to the welfare and development of rural communities.
The Chief Minister also reiterated that the legacy of Kartar Singh Sarabha continues to inspire the Punjab government’s vision for a progressive and empowered state. He said that preserving the history of such great revolutionaries is essential for strengthening future generations’ understanding of the freedom movement. Mann added that the government is working on various cultural and educational initiatives to ensure that the sacrifices of heroes like Sarabha remain alive in public consciousness.
