Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Padma Bhushan awardee and legendary sculptor Ram V. Sutar, describing his passing as an irreparable loss to the Indian and global art community.

In a condolence message shared on social media, CM Yogi Adityanath said that Ram V. Sutar, the visionary sculptor behind the world’s tallest statue — the Statue of Unity, had elevated Indian art and sculpture to global recognition through his extraordinary talent and dedication.
