According to the video, the affected resident said that he and his family were struggling for survival when Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann intervened and provided financial assistance of more than ₹1 lakh as relief. The amount was given to help the family recover from the loss and rebuild their damaged home.
The man expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister, thanking him for extending timely support during a moment of distress.

Sharing the video, Anurag Dhanda described the Punjab government as a support system for the poor and vulnerable, emphasising that the administration responds swiftly to people facing natural or personal disasters.
