Anurag Dhanda: Republic Day celebrations are approaching, but ahead of the national event, a late-night murder in Delhi has once again raised concerns over public safety. A young man was shot dead in the Shastri Park area of the national capital, creating panic in the locality.

According to information, the incident took place late at night when Samir alias Mustakeem alias Kammu Pehlwan (32) was shot by unidentified attackers near Bihari Chowk in Shastri Park. After the firing, family members rushed him to JPC Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The exact motive behind the murder has not yet been established.

AAP Leader Anurag Dhanda Reacts Strongly

Following the incident, AAP National Media In-Charge Anurag Dhanda reacted sharply on social media, expressing serious concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in Delhi.

In his tweet, Anurag Dhanda wrote:

The tweet has gained attention on social media, with users discussing the issue of safety and crime in the national capital.

Police Teams Formed, Investigation Underway

After the murder, Delhi Police registered a case and launched an investigation. Multiple teams have been formed to identify and arrest the accused. Police are conducting raids in nearby areas and suspected locations, while also relying on technical surveillance and CCTV footage to trace the attackers.

Officials confirmed that CCTV cameras installed in and around the crime scene are being examined to gather clues. Police said efforts are being made to establish the sequence of events and determine the motive behind the killing.

Incident Raises Fresh Safety Concerns

The killing has once again highlighted concerns over street crime and public safety in Delhi, especially ahead of major national events. Locals in the area have expressed fear and demanded strict action against those involved.
