Ind vs Pak U19 World Cup: Arch Rivals Faceoff Today! Can India Take Revenge Of 191 Run Loss? Will Vaibhav Suryavanshi And Ayush Mhatre Finally Shine?

Would Team India take revenge of its 191 run loss against Pakistan when Sameer Minhas of Pakistan scored 172 runs in 113 balls?

Ind vs Pak U19 World Cup: India U19 team, led by Ayush Mhatre, is all set to take on arch-rivals Pakistan U19 in a crucial Super 6 match at Zimbabwe’s Queens Sports Club today. Could Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Ayush Mhatre repeat Virat Kohli 2008 feat by limiting Sameer Minhas?

The five-time champions India is looking to bag a top-four finish while Pakistan is facing a do-or-die situation. A win alone is not enough for Pakistan to enter the Super 4 as their net run rate is a huge concern.

IND vs PAK U19 World Cup: Win Status Till Now

Till now, Team India has not lost a single match while Pakistan has lost two matches, one in group-stage and one in Super 6.

Would Vaibhav Suryavanshi Be The Gamechanger?

Vaibhav Suryavanshi has a poor tournament as per his high standards. He has just 166 runs till now with just 32 runs in the last 3 matches against Pakistan.

India presently enjoys a run rate of +3.337 and they just need to win the match to enter the Super 4 and play Afghanistan U19 in the semi-final. Pakistan’s net run rate is +1.484.

A win would guarantee India a spot in the semi-finals. If it loses, it needs to ensure that the defeat margin is less than 85 runs. If chasing, Pakistan should not reach the winning target before 31.5 overs (or approximately 33.2 runs if the target is 250).

On the other hand, Pakistan needs to beat India by at least 105 runs batting first. It needs to chase 250 (if India scores 250) in 29.4 overs or less to enjoy a better net run rate.

The match would start at 1 pm IST. Head-to-head, India has won 14 while Pakistan has won 11 matches out of the total 26 played between the arch-rivals.

Queens Sports Club Pitch Report

The Queens Sports Club pitch is renowned for its balanced surface where both bowlers and batters could enjoy a good day. There is no chance of rain today in Bulawayo. Second inning may feature a bit of dew and fielding first could be a good choice today.
