Rajasthan Diwas: On occasion of the 78th Rajasthan Diwas, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma would flag 207 new buses in the state. Flagging ceremony of the new buses of the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) would be performed at Heerapura Bus Terminal on Ajmer Road.
The event would also be attended by Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa. Linked to road and transport safety, the event would also incorporate road safety awareness.
Rajasthan Diwas-Breakdown Of New Buses
The Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation would introduce 100 Blue Line Express buses, 79 Starline buses and 28 air-conditioned buses today. The addition of these 207 new buses to the Rajasthan Roadways fleet would ensure that transportation services reach every last person, village and city in the state to fulfill the state government’s priority.
DON'T MISS
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, safe, modern and organized transport facilities are expanding across the state continuously.
Regional Connectivity Boost
The launch of 207 new RSRTC buses would help in addressing gaps in the state’s transportation system by expanding route coverage and fleet capacity. The buses would focus primarily on targeting rural-urban links, including suspended routes and remote villages to ensure services reach every district of Rajasthan.
While Star Line and Blue Line models prioritize high-demand, inter-city and rural paths, AC buses improve long-haul options between key cities such as Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer and Jaisalmer to other key regions.
Job Opportunities
The recent fleet expansion by RSRTC would help in creating thousands of direct and indirect job opportunities. This would include job vacancies in maintenance, catering, ticketing, driving and technology.
It would help daily commuters, travellers, students, employees and others gain access to economical, reliable and safe rides with state-of-the-art facilities such as real-time tracking on frequent routes and deluxe seating. It would also help in reducing reliance on private vehicles and reducing carbon footprint.
