Dacoit box office collection had opened at Rs 6.55 cr on Friday. It showed slight growth on Saturday with Rs 6.85 cr and held decently on Sunday with Rs 6.40 cr. However, Monday collections dropped significantly by 57%, marking its lowest single-day figure so far.
Despite this dip, the film has managed to cross the Rs 20 cr mark within four days. Interestingly, it is performing better in Telugu markets compared to the Hindi version, even though it was shot simultaneously in both languages.
Looking ahead, the film is expected to surpass Rs 25.92 cr, which is the lifetime collection of Adivi Sesh’s previous release HIT: The Second Case. However, it still has a long way to go before challenging Major, which earned Rs 41.03 cr in India.
Dacoit Box Office Collection Day 4
Dacoit box office collection is also being impacted by strong competition. The film continues to face pressure from the blockbuster Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge, which still holds a strong grip in theatres.
DON'T MISS
At the same time, it is trailing behind its direct competitor, the Tamil romantic drama Love Insurance Kompany. The Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty starrer collected around Rs 3 cr on Day 4, taking its total to Rs 25.50 cr in just four days. This competitive environment is limiting screen share and audience footfall for Dacoit, especially in key urban centres.
Going forward, the film’s weekday trend will be crucial. A steady hold during the week could help it build towards a stronger second weekend. However, if the decline continues, the film may struggle to reach higher milestones.
