- 9/10 fruits: Good fibre content, helps control sugar levels naturally
- 7/10 fruits: Moderate sugar, should be eaten in controlled portions
- 6/10 fruits: High glycaemic index, limit intake
- 4/10 fruits: High sugar fruits, best to avoid or consume very rarely
- 2/10 fruits: Very high natural sugar, frequent intake not recommended
He also highlighted that fruit juice is not a safe option for people with diabetes, as it raises blood sugar levels quickly due to the absence of fibre.
