Many people spend heavily on anti-aging creams, hoping to reduce wrinkles and look younger. But a Delhi-based doctor says the real solution is not outside the skin, but inside the body. According to him, wrinkles form due to internal changes, and fixing them requires a different approach to anti aging.
In a video on his YouTube channel Healthy Hamesha, Delhi doctor Saleem Zaidi explained that external creams cannot stop aging signs completely. He shared an example of a 38-year-old woman who felt she looked much older than her age due to visible lines and loose skin. After following his advice for 30 days, she reportedly saw noticeable improvement using just two common kitchen foods.
Anti Aging Starts From Inside, Not Outside
Dr Saleem Zaidi explains that skin health depends on collagen, a protein that keeps skin firm and youthful. He compares collagen to the foundation of a building. When it is strong, the skin stays tight and glowing.
However, the body naturally produces less collagen after the age of 25. It reduces by around 1–1.5% every year. By the time a person reaches 35, collagen levels may already be significantly lower. This leads to visible signs of aging such as:
- Fine lines under the eyes
- Wrinkles on the forehead
- Sagging cheeks and loose skin
According to the doctor, this is why anti aging solutions must focus on repairing the body from within rather than relying only on surface treatments.
What Causes Early Skin Aging
The doctor highlights two major reasons behind collagen breakdown:
DON'T MISS
- Free radicals
These are harmful molecules caused by pollution, stress, UV rays, and unhealthy diet. They damage skin cells and weaken collagen. - MMP-1 enzyme
This natural enzyme increases with age and sun exposure. Its job is to break down collagen. A study from Seoul National University shows UV rays increase this enzyme, directly accelerating wrinkles.
Because of these factors, external anti aging creams often fail to deliver long-term results.
Anti Aging Solution: 2 Kitchen Foods That May Help
The doctor suggests a simple anti aging routine using two everyday foods that support collagen naturally.
1. Amla (Indian Gooseberry)
Amla is rich in Vitamin C, which is essential for collagen production. It also helps block MMP-1 and protects skin from damage.
How to use:
- Eat 1 fresh amla daily on an empty stomach
- Or drink amla juice
- Or take 1 tsp amla powder in warm water
2. Walnuts
Walnuts support skin health with Omega-3 fatty acids and Vitamin E. They help maintain hydration and reduce fine lines.
How to use:
- Soak 4–5 walnuts overnight
- Eat them in the morning
Simple Routine Suggested By Doctor
For better results, the doctor suggests:
- First eat soaked walnuts in the morning
- After 15–20 minutes, consume amla
He says this simple routine may support skin repair from within and act as a natural anti aging method over time.
Dr Saleem Zaidi stresses that consistency is key. This anti aging routine is not an overnight fix, but may show results in 45–60 days with regular use. He advises caution for people with allergies or medical conditions and recommends consulting a doctor if needed.
According to him, real anti aging care is not about expensive creams, but about nourishing the body from inside.
