Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann launched the ‘Meri Rasoi’ scheme and announced the rollout of the Mukhyamantri Mawan-Dhiyan Satkar Yojana aimed at supporting women across the state.
Speaking at the event, Bhagwant Mann said the initiative has been introduced to ensure dignity and financial support for the mothers and daughters of Punjab.
Bhagwant Mann: Monthly financial assistance for women
Under the scheme, women aged 18 years and above will receive monthly financial assistance ranging from ₹1,000 to ₹1,500 as a mark of respect and support, according to the state government.
Focus on women empowerment
The Chief Minister stated that the programme reflects the government’s commitment toward women empowerment, welfare, and improving financial security for women belonging to different sections of society.
‘Meri Rasoi’ scheme launched
Alongside the announcement, the government also formally launched the ‘Meri Rasoi’ initiative, which is expected to focus on community welfare and food-related public support measures.

Bhagwant Mann said the Punjab government remains focused on introducing welfare-oriented schemes aimed at improving the quality of life and providing direct support to citizens.
