The instructions were issued during a review meeting of the Public Works Department’s action plan for the financial year 2026-27.

The Chief Minister called for the completion of projects aimed at connecting district headquarters through four-lane roads, improving roads linked to sugar mills, developing routes with single-road connectivity, and addressing accident-prone black spots. He stressed that these projects are essential for enhancing transportation efficiency, improving road safety, and facilitating regional development.
Yogi Adityanath also directed officials to ensure that all ongoing and upcoming infrastructure works are completed with quality and within stipulated timelines. He noted that improved road connectivity plays a vital role in boosting trade, agriculture, tourism, and access to public services across the state.
