Bathinda: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann held a meeting with village sarpanches and prominent residents from the Rampura Phul and Talwandi Sabo regions to discuss government initiatives and development priorities across the state.

During the interaction, discussions were held on various governance and development issues, including employment opportunities, education reforms, rural infrastructure, and agricultural support measures. According to the Chief Minister, participants welcomed efforts aimed at improving educational standards and promoting merit-based recruitment in government services.

Irrigation With Village Representatives

The meeting also focused on rural development projects and the importance of ensuring adequate canal water supply for farmers. Representatives from the villages shared local concerns and suggestions related to irrigation, agricultural needs, and community development.

Mann emphasized that strengthening rural infrastructure and improving support for farmers remain key priorities of the state government. He said efforts are being made to enhance public services and accelerate development in villages across Punjab.
