According to a post shared by Yogi Adityanath, the distribution of cashless medical cards for around 3.54 lakh mid-day meal cooks across Uttar Pradesh will be launched as part of an event honouring their contribution.
The Chief Minister highlighted the role of these cooks in preparing meals for schoolchildren, describing their work as an important support for children’s health, education and overall development.
Yogi Adityanath said the initiative is aimed at extending healthcare protection to the workers while recognising their contribution to the PM POSHAN programme, the government’s school meal initiative.
