According to Alifya, while the Brahmastan is the center of any home that performs a vital role in Vastu. In apartments, where natural light hardly hits this middle section, she advises installing a yellow light here. “Brahmastan is not a spot; it’s a crucial area,” she further adds. For maintaining positivity energy in this area, she suggests lighting the yellow light 8 to 10 hours daily, that is from sunset time to sunrise. That way, the energy continuously energises the space and maintains it in a balanced mode.
Features to be Avoided in the Brahmastan
Alifya recommends avoiding a number of features from being there in Brahmastan as it may create disturbances to otherwise its positive energy. Those are:
Kitchen: A kitchen is considered a bad placement in the Brahmastan for which there will be disharmony in this dwelling.
Toilet: An absolute no-no toilet here as it will affect the movement of energy everywhere.
Heavy Staircase: A heavy staircase in this zone will create imbalance and shut the free movement of energy.
Swimming Pool: Alifya states, if a swimming pool is present in Brahmastan, then diseases could be developed like distension of tummy.
