2023 Yamaha R25 249 cc looks ravishing in new color Phantom Purple With Pink, all you need to know

Yamaha R25: Yamaha’s YZF line has been one of its most successful for a very long time. It gives rise to a wide range of motorcycles that are good for practically any level of rider. Whether a new rider wants a YZF-R125 or an experienced rider wants a YZF-R1, Yamaha has what they need.

Yamaha has made changes to its twin-cylinder 1/4-liter model for MY2023. With this update, there are no changes to the way the machine works and no new or changed parts or equipment. But a new hue looks a lot like the one Yamaha R3 will offer in 2022.

New Colour Update of 2023 Yamaha R25

The company has added an exciting new colour to the 2023 Yamaha R25. This is the same colouring that the Yamaha R3 got for the US market in August 2022. The base coat is a shiny shade of purple called “Phantom Purple,” and there are small touches of pink on the sides of the car, just below where it says “R25.” These small pink details can also be seen on the fairing in front of the bike’s headlamps.

With this update, the 2023 Yamaha R25 is the same as the 2022 model in terms of how it works. Yamaha hasn’t changed much other than its hue. Basically, we still have the same 249 cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine with DOHC and a 4V head. At 12,000 RPM, this engine can make 36 bhp of power, and at 10,000 RPM, it can make 22.6 Nm of torque.

In this new colorway, the front USD forks are painted Black instead of Gold, which is how they look in the other colorways. The design is largely the same as the R15 V4 that we have in India and the R125 that was just shown at the Bangkok International Motor Show.

Should we expect to see it in India?

Even though Yamaha only has one single-cylinder 150cc YZF-R model available in India, we are nevertheless optimistic. Yamaha’s YZF-R7 and MT-09 have been said to be coming to India, and they could be on their way soon. But Yamaha only has the FZ-25 in the quarter-litre division, which is not a very impressive bike, to begin with. Last month, only 120 units of the FZ-25 were sold.

The 2023 Yamaha R25 will be a high-quality product. If FZ25 isn’t selling, does it make sense to put R25 on the market in India? Well, R25 will be aimed at a different group of people. People are willing to pay Rs. 1.95 lakh (ex-sh) for an R15, therefore there might be enough buyers for a Team Blue twin-cylinder screamer.
