3 Upcoming SUVs from Tata

1. Tata Nexon Facelift

According to reports, the Tata Nexon will receive a facelift in August 2023 and will be equipped with a brand-new 1.2L DI turbo petrol engine that generates 125 PS and 225 Nm. Additionally, a new DCA gearbox is anticipated. While the inside will have new elements like a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen and a new steering wheel, the exterior will heavily borrow design cues from the Curvv concept.

2. Tata Harrier Facelift

The facelift will bring some cosmetic modifications to the Harrier midsize SUV, which has been on sale since early 2019. Other aesthetic improvements are also probable, but the front fascia will get a new front grille, updated tail lamps, new wheels, and a slimmer headlamp assembly. ADAS and other cutting-edge technology will be added inside the vehicle.

Auto emergency braking, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, etc. are anticipated to be made possible by the driver-assistive and safety technology. A larger touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility as well as a 360-degree camera system may potentially be added to the Harrier facelift.

3.Tata Safari Facelift

A new 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with 170 hp and 280 Nm torque is an option for this SUV. Additionally, the currently available 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine will still remain an option. Both a 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox will be available for it

The interior of the Safari facelift is also anticipated to undergo significant improvements. A new 10.25-inch display is similar to the Red Dark Edition and a redesigned two-spoke steering wheel from the Nexon makeover may also be added.

It is evident from the Safari facelift’s testing unit that the exterior has been changed. It will have vertical main headlamps in the bumper, a full broad LED light bar extended across the bonnet and LED headlamps with LED DRLs. There will also be an integrated air vent in the cluster and a black-out fix for the area around the headlamp housing. Additionally, it receives a brand-new bumper and grille with thin horizontal slats. The new spy image shows twin five-spoke alloy wheels that have been blacked up, but there haven’t been many significant modifications to the appearance. New, thinner, and linked LED taillamps as well as a slightly modified rear bumper are likely to be added to the Safari.
