Audi Q6 e-Tron: The electric machine unveiled by the manufacturer, will offer 600kms of range, all we know so far

Audi Q6 e-Tron: The Q6 e-tron from Audi, like the A6 e-tron, is based on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE), which also underpins Porsche’s forthcoming Macan-E. The car may include a 100-kilowatt hour (kWh) battery in the top configuration, as was the case with the A6 e-tron research, even if there is currently no official word on the battery and range. This could result in a WLTP range of about 600 km.

Audi Q6 e-Tron

Audi is presently doing rigorous safety tests on the Q6 e-tron prototype, which is close to going into production, in the tough, subzero regions of northern Europe. The new technical platform PPE will debut with the upcoming model series.

The Q6 e-tron prototype, which features an 800V electrical network, strong and efficient electric motors, an advanced battery pack and charging management system, as well as a newly developed electronic architecture, represents the next significant step in the electrification and digitization of the Audi model line.

The new Q6 e-tron model line, which comes in SUV and Sportback body versions, represents Audi’s electric future and will be sustainably manufactured at the Ingolstadt production facility by highly experienced workers.

Expected launch date

According to brand chief Markus Duesmann, the Q6 e-tron will be constructed in Ingolstadt and is anticipated to be unveiled in the second part of the year. This would be the first time an electric vehicle was produced at the Audi main facility.
