A 199.5cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine with 24.5 PS at 9750 RPM and 18.7 Nm at 8000 RPM powers the Bajaj Pulsar NS200. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed transmission.

An air-cooled, fuel-injected, single-cylinder 197.7cc engine with an oil cooler powers the Apache RTR 200 4V. In Sport mode, it generates 20.82PS and 17.25Nm. Urban and Rain modes, on the other hand, limit the output to 17.32PS at 7800rpm and 16.51Nm at 5750rpm, respectively. A 5-speed transmission connects the engine to the wheels.

Features

The NS200 looks good, with a muscular mass-forward appearance and aggressive streetfighter style. It makes do with a halogen headlamp with pilot lamps and a semi-digital instrument cluster as far as features go. The bike has split seats and higher clip-on handlebars. The Pulsar NS200 comes with single-channel ABS.

The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is without a doubt the motorcycle with the most features in its class. Fuel injection, LED headlights with DRL, the Glide Through Traffic system, smartphone connectivity, and three riding modes—Urban, Rain, and Sport are all included. A dedicated button on the right switchgear is used to change between modes. The riding modes affect the acceleration, top speed, and ABS intrusion. Depending on the mode, the gearshift prompts also change. The upshift and downshift signals, for instance, appear in the “Sport” mode at 8500 rpm and over 6000 rpm, respectively. The brake and clutch levers on the bike can be adjusted in three steps.

By pairing your smartphone with the motorcycle’s console using Bluetooth, SmartXonnect enables you to access call and SMS notifications, turn-by-turn directions, and other vehicle diagnostics messages. You can review your past rides’ data, like lean angles and G-forces, after the ride.

Price in India and colours available

The pricing of the Pulsar NS200 is Rs 1,40,666. (ex-showroom Delhi). It comes in four colour schemes: Satin Blue, Pewter Grey, Metallic Pearl White, and Burnt Red.

Single-channel ABS and Dual-channel ABS are the two versions of the Apache RTR 200 4V that TVS offers. Priced at Rs. 1,39,690 for the former and Rs. 1,44,740 for the latter (both ex-showroom Delhi).
