BMW iX1 EV Car Teased! Expected to launch in October at THIS price range, details

A 64.7kWh battery pack will serve as the iX1's power source. The dual electric motor setup produces a maximum torque of 494Nm and a combined output of 313bhp with it.

BMW iX1 EV Car: BMW India has already released the teaser on X (formerly known as Twitter) with the caption “Plug into the possibilities and charge ahead. An electrifying future is about to unfold. Stay tuned.” And as you can see in the screenshot below, company also shared a blacked shaded picture of a car with a BMW logo. The iX1 is the electrified version of the recently released X1 and is anticipated to launch in the upcoming weeks. By October of this year, BMW can introduce the iX1 in India, with prices starting at Rs 60 lakh (ex-showroom). Once available, it will directly compete with the Volvo XC40 Recharge.

Blue highlights on the front and rear bumpers as well as the door sills help the iX1 set itself out from the ICE variant. iX1 will use a 64.7kWh battery pack as its power source. With it, the dual electric motor configuration generates a peak torque of 494Nm and a total output of 313bhp. It will be available with AWD as standard, and the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is said to take 5.3 seconds. The iX1 has a claimed range of up to 475km using this configuration. The powertrain for the model built for India has not yet been confirmed by BMW. In addition to this, LED headlamps with hefty kidney-shaped front grilles and inverted L-shaped DRLs are still available.
