The Eko Tejas claims that one battery can take you 150 kilometres on a single charge. Additionally, it features a space for a second spare battery, allowing the bike to run for 300 kilometres continuously.

The buyer benefits from receiving 72 volts/60 ah battery upon purchase, and in addition, one may be eligible for government subsidies. If the buyer lives in an apartment, the company’s dealers will install a charging station in the buyer’s parking space, which can be connected to the bike.

The vehicle’s 4 kW high RPM mid-drive motor will enable it to reach its stated top speed of 100 Kmph.

What did the company say about the bike?

Director of Eko Tejas, K. Venkatesh Teja, said “We are very delighted to launch India’s first muscle bike. This bike has a smart automation system which comes with inbuilt navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, and a call notification feature. This is the most futuristic technology found in EV bike segments till now. Our aim is to provide an Eco-friendly zeal amongst the youth of today while they make an E-Dyroth purchase.”

In addition, 10 Indian states, including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka, have a well-established dealer presence for Ekotejas. Pre-bookings are now being taken.
