A 100 PS and 147.6 Nm of peak power and torque are produced by the 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo petrol engine that originally drove the Maruti Fronx. A 1.2-litre K-Series Dual Jet VVT engine is also an option, producing 88 horsepower and 113 Nm of maximum power and torque. The gearboxes that come with this engine are a 6-speed automatic, a 5-speed manual, and a 5-speed automatic with paddle shifters. It is interestingly fitted with an all-wheel-drive system.

The 1.2-litre 4-cylinder K-Series petrol engine in the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, on the other hand, features the Idle Start Stop (ISS) System. Peak power and torque from this engine are 88 horsepower and 113 Nm. The Baleno comes equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission from Maruti. However, certain variations come with a 5-speed automatic manual transmission.

The Fronx is the newest model in Maruti’s India lineup, therefore it boasts the newest cabin and features. It has a 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ Infotainment System powered by Arkamys, a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, head-up display, TFT instrument cluster, Next-Gen Suzuki Connect with 40+ Intelligent Connect Car Features, a 6-speaker Premium Arkamys Audio System, 6 Airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, auto IRVM, Hill Hold Assist, and 3-point ELR seat belts on all seats, among other features.

The Baleno, on the other hand, also includes a 9-inch Touchscreen Infotainment System with SmartPlay Pro+ OS, OTA Updates, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Heads-Up Display, a 360-Degree Camera, Alexa Support, ARKAMYS Sound System, Leather-Wrapped Steering Wheel, Auto-Dimming IRVM, Cruise Control, Height-Adjustable Driver’s Seat, Voice Commands, 6 Airbags

Both of these products are jam-packed to the brim with features. We’ll have to wait till Fronx’s prices are revealed. But it will be more expensive than a Baleno. Therefore, we can say that the Fronx is the one for you if you like the SUV-like silhouette, are seeking a powerful engine, and don’t mind spending a little more. Additionally, it will give you a practical all-wheel-drive setup, which may be a crucial factor for many consumers.

Baleno should work, though, if you’re not caught up in the SUV craze and are searching for a good deal on a product. It has all of the contemporary features seen in the most recent generation model, which was updated only recently. That is the reason it has been selling so well in our market for a very long time. However, it will take some time before we learn how much more expensive the new Fronx is in comparison to the Baleno. You simply can’t go wrong with either of these, in any case.
