Maruti Suzuki Ciaz: With more basic safety features and more paint colour options, Maruti Suzuki has upgraded its midsize Ciaz. ESP and Hill-Hold Assist are now included as standard equipment across the line for the Ciaz, which previously came with them only in automatic variants.
Maruti Suzuki offers dual-tone colour options for the top-spec Alpha trim of the sedan in addition to the safety features. With increased competition in the midsize car market, Maruti Suzuki is making an effort with these changes to keep the nearly nine-year-old Ciaz relevant.

The 1.5-litre K15C petrol engine with 105 horsepower and either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission continues to power the Ciaz because there are no mechanical changes to the vehicle. The engine has mild hybrid technology, and according to Maruti, the manual version achieves a fuel efficiency of 20.65 kmpl and the automatic version has a fuel efficiency of 20.04 kmpl.
New Safety features and colour options
Dual front airbags, ISOFIX child-seat anchors, and ABS are still available on the Ciaz. ESP and Hill-Hold Assist are now included as standard equipment across the line for the Ciaz, which previously came with them only in automatic variants.
The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is also available in three dual-tone paint colours: Pearl Metallic Opulent Red, Pearl Metallic Grandeur Grey, and Dignity Brown. Each of these colours comes with a black roof. Only the Alpha variant with the highest level of specification can choose the dual-tone option, which costs Rs 16,000 more than the regular paint.
