Why it was recalled?

According to Maruti, there may be a flaw in one of the young sections of the front-row seat belts’ shoulder height adjustment assembly, which in a very rare circumstance could result in seat belt disassembly. The company has made the decision to recall the suspected vehicles for examination and the free replacement of the defective part out of concern for the safety of our customers and extreme care.

Affected owners of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara

The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara affected owners will be contacted by the brand’s authorised workshops for immediate attention, according to plans. Maruti has also recalled four additional products in addition to the Grand Vitara.
