Matter Energy e- bike: Powertrain

An IP67-rated, 5.0kWh battery pack that is the first in its sector to be liquid-cooled will power the forthcoming Matter electric motorcycle. An electric motor powered by this unit receives energy in order to produce a tremendous 520 Nm of torque and a peak output of 10.5 kW (14 bhp).

A fourth segment-first feature is a four-speed hyper-shift manual gearbox that connects the motor to the rear wheel. The company has not yet disclosed the exact range that the electric bike offers, but according to Matter, a full charge can give the bike a range of roughly 125–150 km. By connecting the lithium-ion battery to a typical 5A household outlet and using the onboard charger, the battery can be fully recharged in five hours.
