Toyota C-HR new powertrain option

Toyota has revealed there will be a plug-in hybrid version of the forthcoming C-HR, which will be another significant shift. The ordinary self-charging hybrid and the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) will be sold side by side.

Design details

The teaser image showcases the rear profile of the new Toyota C-HR, which has a streamlined shape and a full-width LED signature connecting the LED taillights. This design element adheres to the style that is currently popular in the automobile industry and is frequently seen in other Toyota vehicles like the Veloz and Harrier. However, there is a distinctive aesthetic component in the form of the Toyota C-HR writing that is positioned in the middle of the LED strip.

Launch details and Indian release

By the end of 2023, the new C-HR is expected to hit the market in North America as well as Europe. Considering the rising demand for SUVs and crossovers in India, even if Toyota hasn’t said anything about its intentions to sell the vehicle here, it might be a desirable model if it does.
