Tata Nano EV to launch soon?

Tata Nano might be brought back as an entry-level EV model from the stable of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited. The notion of a Tata Nano EV has been debated for some time and appears to have garnered some popularity online.

Additionally, according to the reports, an electric vehicle drivetrain might be built on the Tata Nano’s X3 chassis. To comply with the newest crash safety and pedestrian safety standards, the monocoque chassis would also need to be upgraded. To account for the battery pack’s additional weight, the suspension and tyre settings will also be modified.

Expected specifications

In this car, a 72 volt lithium ion battery pack was used, according to TATA Nano Electric technical specifications. According to ARAI certification, it has a 200 km range on a single charge. A 48-volt electric motor that can provide a maximum output of 32 horsepower will be used to power the vehicle. This vehicle is also planned to have four seats, just like the Tata Nano. Automobile industry specialists predict that this work will cost between 5 and 7 lakhs in the Indian market.
