Tata Nexon Jet Edition: Why is this vehicle discreetly delisted from its official website? All you must know

Tata Nexon Jet Edition: Tata Motors has subtly removed the Nexon Jet Edition from its official website. The SUV’s Jet Edition went on sale at the same time as the Dark and Kaziranga editions in August of last year. The XZ+ and XZA+ variants of the special edition were offered with both gasoline and diesel engine options. It also came in the distinctive Starlight colour. The cost of some Nexon variants has increased by up to Rs 15,000 as a result of price changes. Tata Motors also unveiled new LUX and LUXS variants with this update, which are the top-of-the-line Nexon models. Prices for the Tata Nexon EV Jet edition started at Rs 17.50 lakh for both the Prime and Max trim levels (ex-showroom).

Interior features of this futuristic car

The Nexon EV Jet edition’s interior features dual-tone oyster white and granite black with bronze deco stitching, as well as piano black trims with a steel bronze finish mid-pad. The front headrests of the vehicles are also adorned with the “Jet” logo to give them a distinctive appearance. The Nexon EV Jet edition also comes with a wireless phone charger, cruise control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, ventilated front seats, multi-brake regeneration modes, a jewelled gear selector control knob, and more.

Battery pack and range

Similar to the Nexon EV, there are two electric engines available for the Nexon EV Jet edition. The larger 40.5kWh battery pack produces 141bhp of maximum power and 250Nm of peak torque, compared to the smaller 30.2kWh battery pack’s 127bhp and 245Nm. The Nexon EV Prime’s 30.2kWh battery pack allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 9.9 seconds and offers a range of 312km, compared to the Nexon EV Max’s 40.5kWh battery pack that enables it to do so in 9 seconds and offer a range of 437km.

Tata Nexon Jet Edition: Increasing sales of the company

Tata Motors, meanwhile, sold 47,987 domestic passenger cars in January 2023, up 18% from the same month last year. Only 40,777 units were sold during the same month last year. In comparison to the previous month’s total sales of 40,043 units, the automaker’s sales growth has increased by 19.84%. Additionally, the company sold 4,133 electric vehicles, which represents a 39% year-over-year increase in sales.
