Tata Safari 2023, First SUV by Tata to get ADAS, Bookings now open, all you need to know

Tata Safari 2023: Tata Motors has begun taking bookings for the upgraded version of its Harrier SUV. The company has now begun taking reservations for the ADAS version of its Tata Safari 7-seater SUV. Further features have been added to Safari by the firm. The ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistant System) feature is the biggest addition to it.

Also, the engine has been adjusted and updated to meet the new emission standards. It is a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 350 Nm and 168 Bhp. It will have a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission and a 6-speed manual transmission.

Features

Tata Safari will now have ADAS. For example, it will have a front collision warning, automatic emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning, lane change alert, high beam assist, blind spot detection, and rear cross. Along with this, you will also have access to the electronic stability programme, rear collision warning, door open alert, and traffic alert features.

Moreover, Safari now has a new touchscreen infotainment system. It measures 10 inches. It is coupled to a 9-speaker JBL system and supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The 360 degree parking camera that is built into it will assist in parking the SUV in confined spaces. Furthermore modified by Tata Motors is the instrument panel.
