Both versions come with a 5-speed manual gearbox, while the petrol version also has a CVT automatic gearbox option.

Honda Jazz

The Jazz is powered by a 1.2L petrol engine or a 1.5L diesel engine that produce 90PS and 110Nm and 100PS and 200Nm of torque, respectively. While the Jazz’s diesel model claims to get 27.3 km per gallon, the petrol version is said to get 18.2 km per gallon. The cost is between Rs. 7.53 to Rs. 9.48 lakh.

Ford Figo

The vehicle is equipped with a 1.5L diesel engine and a 1.2L three-cylinder petrol engine that produce 96PS and 120Nm and 100PS and 215Nm, respectively. Both engine types have FWD capability and are connected to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The cost is between Rs. 5.49 to Rs. 8.15 lakh.

Tata Bolt

This vehicle has a starting price of Rs. 5.29 lakh. A new Revotron petrol engine that complies with BSVI and produces 89PS and 140Nm of torque powers the Bolt. A 5-speed manual gearbox with Front-Wheel Drive capability is mated to the Revotron engine. Test results show that the Bolt can provide 17.57 Kmpl of mileage and a top speed of 154 Kmph.

Maruti Baleno

The Baleno is propelled by a new 1.2L naturally-aspirated petrol engine that is BSVI-compliant and produces 83PS and 113Nm of torque (equivalent to the Swift). Additionally, a 1.2L DualJet petrol engine with 90Ps and 113Nm of torque is available. While a 5-speed manual gearbox is standard equipment for both engines, the 1.2L naturally-aspirated engine also offers a CVT gearbox option. The price is between Rs. 5.70 and Rs. 9.03 lakh.
