Toyota Innova Crysta gets new front fascia with the same 2.4-litre diesel engine, all you should know

Toyota Innova Crysta: Following the introduction of its replacement, the Innova Hycross, the Toyota Innova Crysta has been given a fresh start. The second-generation Innova is back with a diesel-MT powertrain and a new “look.” Prices have not yet been disclosed, but pre-launch reservations are now being accepted for a nominal sum of Rs 50,000. The MPV is available in four trim levels: G, GX, VX, and ZX.

All about the new Toyota Innova Crysta

Since the Innova Crysta was introduced to the Indian market, this would be the vehicle’s second facelift, and it is clear that design improvements are at the front. The Innova Crysta’s most recent design features a new, squarer grille flanked by the same pair of headlamps, and the bumper also gets a touch of chrome for some extra glitz. The exterior styling of the MPV otherwise resembles that of the previous version quite closely.

The interior of the Innova Crysta is similar to the previous model, despite the small outward makeover. It is still available as a seven-seater with captain seats or an eight-seater with a bench seat for passengers in the middle row.

The eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, the eight-way powered driver seat, ambient lighting, and keyless entry with button start are all still included in the list of features.

Up to seven airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, front and rear parking sensors, and hill-start assist all contribute to passenger safety.

However, After the release of the Innova Hycross, only the 150PS, 2.4-litre diesel engine with a five-speed manual transmission will be available for the Crysta. The 2.7-litre petrol engine has been phased out, so your only choice for an Innova with petrol power is the Innova Hycross, which offers both petrol-alone and hybrid powertrains.

Prices for the slightly updated Innova Crysta are anticipated to be slightly higher than those for the outgoing model, which started at Rs 19.13 lakh (diesel variants, ex-showroom).
