Two wheelers launching in February 2023: From Yamaha MT 15 V2 to River electric scooter, see the list here

Two wheelers launching in February 2023: The Auto Expo kicked off the first month of 2023 in a big way, and other significant releases followed, including the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650. But with only a few releases anticipated this month, it appears that the momentum may fade a little.

The company Matter debuted their first electric bike in November of last year, and it was recently on display at the Auto Expo. And for now, we’re really hoping that the company will introduce the electric bike this month. It is the first electric motorcycle in India with a motor and battery pack that is both liquid-cooled. Expect the Matter electric bike to cost roughly Rs 1.75 lakh, with a claimed range of 125-150 km depending on the configuration and performance predicted to be comparable to a 150cc petrol-powered bike. It will be a better-quality substitute for the Tork Kratos.

River Electric Scooter

River, an EV firm with headquarters in Bengaluru, is adding to the influx of new EVs. It is currently developing an electric scooter, dubbed the “SUV of scooters,” which is slated to go on sale on February 22. Quick glances will make you think of the Yamaha Neos, and the dual LED headlights are quite adorable. The River electric scooter is also nicely outfitted, featuring, among other things, huge alloy wheels with a front disc brake, telescopic fork, and crash protectors integrated into the apron. It may provide performance comparable to a 110cc petrol scooter if it had a mid-mounted motor and belt drive.

Along with these, Yamaha may also introduce an upgraded FZ-X this month. It might include dual-channel ABS and a few fresh colour choices. Another option is the introduction of the Yamaha FZ-X25 in place of the FZ-X. Yamaha might broaden out its 250cc platform in the same way it did with its 150cc FZ series by adding a neo-retro motorcycle.
