Yamaha E01: Amazing looking electric scooter to launch in India soon? Might come with a 104km per charge range, all you should know

Yamaha E01: In addition to vehicles from other producers like Honda and Suzuki, more than one electric scooter will be released onto the Indian market in 2023. The Yamaha E01, the company’s first electric scooter, might be released in India as part of this effort this year. Yamaha’s first electric scooter will be maxi-styled and competitive with other manufacturers’ electric scooters due to its design, practicality, and long battery life.

Features

The Yamaha E01’s battery will have a design similar to the Yamaha Nmax’s, as well as the same size and seating. The battery is anticipated to have a 4.9kWh lithium-ion capacity and an extremely potent electric motor. With this motor, the user would receive 8.1 kW at 5,000 rpm and 30.2 Nm of torque at 1,950 pm.

According to media sources, the first electric scooter from Yamaha for the Indian market will look and operate exactly like its present fuel scooters. Other improvements include complete LED headlights and taillights, comfortable seats, and under-seat storage, among others. The Yamaha E01 will eventually get many distinctive features like disc brakes, ABS, large tyres, and a display with smartphone connectivity.

Expected price in India

Although there is no official launch date yet, the Yamaha E01 electric scooter is anticipated to debut in India. The specialists have presented an initial cost estimate of Rs. 1.15 lakhs. This, however, is flexible.
