Renault Duster: Renault has announced the imminent comeback of the Duster in the Indian market, scheduling the launch on the day of the Republic Day celebrations on 26th January 2026. The car will re-enter the Indian market with the name that has played a major role in shaping the compact SUVs in the country, and will be launched in the mid-size SUV segment.
Bold New Design and Premium Features
The next-generation Duster features a design that is far more modern and rugged than its outgoing counterpart. This is expected to sport a stylish LED light system, which will boast distinctive daytime running lights, sporty body cladding, twin-toned alloy wheels, and a tough road presence. On the other hand, it is also speculated to sport a large touchscreen display, digital instrumentation, wireless charging, and ventilated seats.
Enhanced Safety Capabilities with Level 2 ADAS
In the technology and convenience aspects of the car’s features for the 2026 version of the Duster model in the Indian market, the safety features are expected to receive a major upgrade in terms of the advanced driver assistance systems. These systems are hoped to include Level 2 technology in the Duster model. It includes features such as automatic emergency braking assistance systems, lane-keeping assistance systems, adaptive cruise control systems, and blind-spot monitoring systems.
Hybrid Powertrains and 4 × 4
The new Duster in India might first hit roads with turbo-petrol engines, followed by a strong hybrid model. The hybrid technology, already seen in international variants, combines a petrol engine, along with electric propulsion, to provide better fuel efficiency. Then, of course, there is the prospect of a 4×4 model, which will further boost off-road capabilities.
