5 upcoming cars under 10 lakh: Automakers will attempt to take advantage of the favourable buying feelings that typically exist among consumers over the holiday season, so there will always be plenty of activity in terms of new releases. Five future vehicles that will be available for purchase in the approaching months and have a price under Rs. 10 lakh are listed below.
Hyundai Exter
The Hyundai Exter will debut on July 10, 2023, in India. Six airbags will be standard on the tiny SUV, which will directly compete with the Tata Punch and be loaded with goodies. The 1.2L NA petrol engine will be mated to either a five-speed MT or an AMT, and the five-seater will be built on the same platform as the Grand i10 Nios. Additionally, a CNG version will be offered. The only direct rival to the Hyundai Exter is the Tata Punch.

The Curvv concept will have an impact on the facelifted Tata Nexon because it will receive a completely revamped exterior and interior. According to reports, it will debut in August 2023 and will be available with the current 1.5L diesel engine. It will be powered by a new 1.5L DI turbo petrol engine.
The SUV has plenty of rivals in this category, including the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Renault Kiger, Kia Sonet and Mahindra XUV300.
Tata Punch CNG
At the 2023 Auto Expo in January, the Tata Punch CNG and the Altroz CNG made their debuts. While the Punch CNG is more likely to be on sale later this year, the Altroz CNG was only recently announced. The twin-cylinder configuration will significantly reduce bootspace and will be used in conjunction with the 1.2L petrol engine. The Tata Punch will directly rival the Hyundai Exter.
Hyundai i20 Facelift
The Hyundai i20 has already been spotted in testing in India and will receive minor outward alterations to prolong the life of the current model. Although no planned technical changes, the interior might get some new improvements.
The i20 facelift, when launched in India, will continue to rival the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, the Tata Altroz and the Toyota Glanza.

The Taisor could be the name given to the Maruti Suzuki Fronx’s badge-engineered variant. The global Yaris Cross is thought to have had a significant impact on the design of the small SUV coupe, however there has been no official confirmation of this. It may go on sale in the coming months. The Toyota Tisor may be fitted with a 1.2L petrol engine or a 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine.
The Toyota Taisor is likely to go up against other compact crossovers in the market like the Citroen C3, Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
