BMW CE 02: The CE-02 was introduced by TVS Motor Company Ltd and BMW Motorrad. Not only will the electric 2-wheeler be the first vehicle on the crossover platform to be collaboratively developed and designed by both automakers, it will also be the first EV 2-wheeler from the TVS-BMW platform. TVS will produce the CE-02 at its Hosur, Tamil Nadu, factory in India. in this article, we will tell you all you need to know about this unique electric scooter before it launches.
BMW CE 02 powertrain details
There are two models available for the CE 02: an 11 kW (15 hp) model and a 4 kW (5 hp) version.
The CE 02 can travel up to 95 km/h, but with an optional power decrease, it can only go 45 km/h. It takes three seconds to accelerate from zero to fifty km per hour.
With its low output, the CE 02 can travel up to 28 miles (45 km) and with its high output, up to 55 miles (89 km).
With a low output of 85 minutes and a high output of 168 minutes, the CE 02 can charge from 20% to 80%. A 1.5kW rapid charger is an optional accessory that may be used to charge it in addition to a 0.9kW regular charger.
Features onboard
The CE 02 features ride modes, Bluetooth connectivity, LED lights, a 3.5-inch TFT screen, and reverse mode. Additionally, it features a tiny instrument panel on which a phone can be mounted to serve as a backup display.
Expected price in India
The BMW CE 02 scooter is scheduled to go on sale in India for approximately Rs 6.50 Lakh. The launch of CE 02 is scheduled for July 2024.
