The National Highways Authority recently announced ‘One Vehicle, One FASTag”. This initiative aims to discourage people from using one FASTag for multiple vehicles. As the February 29 deadline for FASTag KYC compliance approaches, it’s crucial for users to ensure their accounts are up to date. Keeping your FASTag information updated is not only a regulatory requirement but also essential for a seamless and uninterrupted tolling experience. Those who fail to update their FASTag KYC before 29 February, their FASTag will be subject to be deactivated. Here, in this article, we will give a step-by-step guide for updating FASTag KYC, ensuring a hassle-free journey on the roads.
FASTag KYC Update Through NHAI Official Website
Step 1: Go to https://fastag.ihmcl.com and sign in with the phone number you registered.
Step 2: After finishing, select My Profile from the Dashboard Menu.
Step 3: You will see a KYC option on the My Profile page. Click and open that window and then opt for “Customer Type.”
Step 4: To update your FASTag KYC, adhere to the on-screen instructions and mark the required declaration.
Note: The approval and KYC update process usually takes 7-8 working days
FASTag KYC Update Through Bank Website
Step 1: Open your desktop or mobile device and navigate to https://www.netc.org.in/request-for-netc-fastag.
Step 2: Choose the bank that issued your FASTag and click the online link.
Step 3: Use your registered mobile phone to log in to the relevant FASTag issuing bank.
Step 4: Now You can update your FASTag KYC by following the directions on the screen.
Offline FASTag KYC Update
Step 1: Take your PAN, identity document, proof of address, and passport-size photo to the closest bank that issues FASTags.
Step 2: Inquire about the FASTag KYC form to the bank representative.
Step 3: Submit the completed form and the required paperwork. The form will be processed and verified by the bank.
Step 4: After your FASTag KYC is updated, you will receive a notice via email and SMS.
