The well-reliable 97.2cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine of the Hero Splendour Plus Xtec generates 8.02PS at 8000 rpm and 8.05Nm at 6000 rpm when combined with a 4-speed ratio.
With a five-speed gearbox, the 115.45cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled DTS-i engine of the Platina 110 generates 8.6PS of power and 9.81Nm of torque. Noteworthy is the fact that the gasoline tank sizes for the disc brake and drum brake variants are 10.5 and 11 litres, respectively, with the disc brake type having the larger capacity.

Features onboard

The Xtec edition of the Hero Splendour is distinguished from the ordinary version by its full LCD instrument dashboard and LED DRL above the headlamp. In addition to reading the speed and fuel level, the Hero Splendour Plus Xtec’s orange-backlit console also provides real-time mileage readings. In addition to the Hero Splendour Plus Xtec’s alloy wheels, electronic starter, side stands engine cut-off, and idle stop-start system (i3S), this console also has Bluetooth connectivity for answering calls and responding to SMS warnings.

The Bajaj Platina 110 has a number of noteworthy features, including tubeless tyres, an integrated LED daytime running light (DRL), flat pillion footrests, hand guards, a gas-charged spring-in-spring rear suspension, and a roomy and comfy seat. The disc brake version differs from the drum brake version due to its special features, which include a semi-digital instrument cluster that shows the ABS status in addition to a gear-position indicator and shift advice.
