Ultraviolette, a Bengaluru-based electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer has released the much-anticipated upgrade to its famous F77 electric motorbike. The new e-bike, known as the F77 Mach 2, has major changes in performance, features and hardware, making it an appealing alternative for riders looking for an exciting and feature-rich electric two-wheeler.

Extended Range and Class-Leading Regen Braking

One of the F77 Mach 2’s notable qualities is its long range. The bike comes in two versions, basic and Recon. The base model has a 7.1 kWh battery and a stated range of 211 km on a single charge. The higher-spec Recon model, on the other hand, has a bigger 10.3 kWh battery that provides a best-in-class range of 323 km (according to IDC).

Another notable feature especially for city riders is the F77 Mach 2’s regenerative braking system. The Recon model has a class-leading 10 levels of switchable regenerative braking allowing riders to control the amount of energy recovered while braking and enhance efficiency. The basic model has three regenerative braking settings.

More Power, More Features

The F77 Mach 2 is powered by a strong electric motor. The basic model features a 27 kW motor, while the Recon variant has a more powerful 30 kW motor, resulting in exciting acceleration.

Apart from the amazing range and engine, the F77 Mach 2 is packed with technologies that improve both comfort and safety. Both models have three ride modes, a contemporary five-inch TFT display for easy information access and auto-dimming lighting for improved visibility at night. The F77 Mach 2 also has hill hold control, ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) and dynamic stability control which ensure a confident and controlled riding in a variety of circumstances. The Recon version enhances safety by having a four-level traction control system.

Stylish Design and Attractive Price

While the F77 Mach 2 keeps the same attractive appearance as its predecessor, it offers a larger range of colour options to suit to a variety of tastes. The bike is available in a number of vibrant colours, including Lighting Blue, Asteroid Grey and Afterburner Yellow allowing users to choose from array of options.

The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 begins at Rs. 2,99,000 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) for the first 1,000 buyers. The feature-rich Recon model costs Rs. 3,99,000 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
